I didn’t start school until 10:15 today, so I went on a bike ride up into the plateau mountains. The weather was actually really nice and sunny until about 10. It’s incredibly flat on top for miles and miles. It made me realize just how different this town is. Steilacoom may be small, but it’s surrounded by other cities. Vadso is a little smaller than Steilacoom, but it’s the only thing around for a ways.
On top of the mountains there are these strange rock piles. I’m not sure what they’re for. There’s also an old wooden ski jump a ways away from a small waterfall.
